American Activities Everyday and Weekend Trips

Travel Experiences

Travel is a major component of the three-week program. Before each trip, teachers and students discuss history, objectives, and related assignments.
Students travel throughout the Princeton area and to Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Last summer, students went rafting in Pennsylvania, visited the Constitution Center in Philadelphia, and were mesmerized by the Broadway musical, Wicked followed by dinner in New York City.
Other trips include the annual visit to Hershey Amusement Park and Amish country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and shopping at Woodbury Commons Outlets. The highlight of the program is an overnight weekend trip to Washington, D.C. Last summer, students visited landmarks including the memorials on the National Mall, the Crime Museum, and enjoyed dinner at a variety of restaurants.
